Privacy Policy

Effective date: March 2026  •  FastNetNow — Memphis, TN

FastNetNow (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website fastnetnow.net and associated client-facing tools. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our site or use our services, how we use it, and how we protect it. By using our website you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide Directly

When you submit our contact form, we collect the information you enter: your name, email address, and the content of your message. We use this information solely to respond to your inquiry.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website, certain technical information is collected automatically by our hosting infrastructure:

  • IP address and general geographic region
  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system
  • Pages visited and time spent on each page
  • Referring URL (the page that linked you to us)

This data is used for security monitoring and aggregate analytics only. It is not linked to any personally identifiable information.

Cookies and Local Storage

Our website uses a single browser localStorage entry to remember your dark-mode preference between visits. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or behavioral analytics services. No cookie banner is necessary because we do not deploy cookies that require consent under applicable law.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes only:

  • Responding to inquiries — to reply to messages sent through our contact form
  • Service delivery — to provide IT consulting, managed services, helpdesk, and remote support to our clients
  • Security and fraud prevention — to detect and block malicious traffic or unauthorized access attempts
  • Aggregate analytics — to understand how visitors interact with our site so we can improve content and usability

We do not use your information for targeted advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making, and we will never sell your data.

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Formspree — our contact form submits data to Formspree, a third-party form-processing service. Formspree receives the name, email, and message you submit and forwards it to our inbox. Formspree's own privacy policy governs their handling of that data.
  • MeshCentral — clients who use our Remote Support tool interact with a self-hosted MeshCentral instance operated by FastNetNow. Session data (device identifiers, connection logs) is stored on our own infrastructure and is not shared with the MeshCentral project or any external party.
  • Legal obligations — we may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid legal process (e.g., a court order or subpoena).

4. Data Security

We apply industry-standard safeguards to protect your information:

  • All data transmitted to and from this website is encrypted using TLS (HTTPS).
  • Client portal tools (Dashboard, Helpdesk, Remote Support) require authenticated login and transmit data over encrypted connections.
  • Remote support sessions via MeshCentral are encrypted end-to-end and require explicit client consent before a technician may connect.
  • We store contact-form submissions only as long as needed to respond and resolve the inquiry.

No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Third-Party Services

Our website and client tools integrate the following third-party services. Each service has its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to review:

  • Formspree (Privacy Policy) — processes contact form submissions.
  • MeshCentral — open-source remote-management platform self-hosted by FastNetNow. No data is shared with third parties through this integration.

We do not embed third-party advertising networks, social media tracking widgets, or analytics platforms (such as Google Analytics) on this website.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

This website uses minimal browser storage:

  • darkMode (localStorage) — stores your display-mode preference (light or dark). Not transmitted to any server.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or cross-site tracking. You may clear your browser's localStorage at any time through your browser settings without any loss of functionality beyond resetting your display-mode preference.

7. Children's Privacy

Our website and services are directed exclusively at businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at [email protected] and we will promptly delete it.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of any personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Deletion — request that we delete personal information we hold about you, subject to any legal retention obligations.
  • Opt-out of communications — unsubscribe from any email communications by replying with “unsubscribe” or by contacting us directly.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Data Retention

Contact form submissions are retained only as long as necessary to respond to and resolve the inquiry — typically no longer than 12 months after the last communication. Server logs containing IP addresses are retained for up to 90 days for security purposes, after which they are purged. Client-portal account data is retained for the duration of the service relationship and deleted within 60 days of account closure upon request.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of our website after an update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
